Or if like me you don't have alcohol try strong warm tea, 1/2 a cup of water and two Earl Grey bags gives a lovely flavour but any will do. And in true OS style you can dilute with more boiling water and drink any left over tea.

im not keen on mary berry recipes:cool:she uses marg in a lot of her recipes.i like the hummingbird bakery books,cakes taste delicious from their recipes.Do you have any rum or brandy?
