Why is it, that even though I use the same ingredients and same quantities and timings, some days my bread can be just ok and just once in a while I can make a beaut? Today is one such day. Even the gorgeous Mr Hollywood wouldn't sneer at this baby!

DH made another loaf of bread for sandwiches for lunch (we don't eat bread often, so don't know why we have made two loafs this weekend! ) Mine is sliced and in the freezer now for using as and when.

I used some LO HM pastry to make an apple/pear/sultana pie. I flavoured the filling with cloves. We tried the pie - yummy.
