I made the lemon curd cake yesterday, took it round to my aunt's house for a family get together, and I can report back it was a resounding success! None left.
No photos, I forgot to take one before i took it round
It looks just like a a plain cake, but the taste is yummy!
I need to stop reading this thread as it makes me so hungry! I've just made a quick batch of coconut and cherry biscuits, which are delicious. I really want to make a lemon curd cake now though. It sounds amazing skader!

Hello, just typing it up on my blog at the moment. Will PM you the link by the end of day (don't want to break the rules of promoting on here). I'm not a massive blogger, it's pretty much for family and friends (and my brother who is terrible at remembering where he puts recipes :rotfl: ).

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

oat biscuits - sadly I did not add sugar so they were just lumps of oats ...

Then I made a banana cake to appease the children which was a success.

Am gearing up for more oat biscuits for tomorrow ...
  • Made a Dutch apple cake ( apple cinnamon and sugar on top of a sponge) from apples of my tree and a chocolate cake as I was in a baking mood.
