Today I made wholemeal bread and Swedish style cinnamon buns. A while ago I posted a question about how to get seeds to stick to bread. Someone advised brushing the top of the loaf with warm water after the second proving. Well I tried it today and it really worked. The seeds didn't all fall off as soon as I tried to cut the loaf
And the cinnamon buns are as good as anything I've ever eaten in Sweden so a successful day's baking!

I have had a big tub of gooseberries in the freezer, which I picked growing wild last summer. Yesterday I made a large tray of gooseberry crumble which I cut into squares and froze, ready for a quick dessert with some custard."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I've made the Guiness, ginger and sultana bread from Jack Monroe's website "A Girl called Jack". Smells goo but haven't tasted it yet. It's a bit flatter than I'd hoped as it spread so much!

Another 9x13" tray of brownies for my brother to take into to work, purely as a bribe so I can borrow his PS3 whilst he's on night shifts. *prays he falls for it!*'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

A tray of Dr Oetkers healthy option brownies from an Approved foods mix, and a white loaf which was part pizza dough mix and part Dr Os soft bap mix. It looks awesome, wish I'd tried to combine the mixes before I ran out of the bap mix...Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
