Made a banana bread with apricot :-)

Used some of DH's expensive whiskey to soak the dried fruit, ooh it's yummy! Made one for next door as well and they scoffed it x

Today has been a productive day for me, although I am feeling tired now. I made dropped scones for DDs breakfast, bread rolls [using the breadmaker for the dough], refrigerator biscuits and cheese puffs.

Not really baked but a golden syrup sponge pudding made in the microwave... It was gorgeous and very quick served with good old custard!

Apple and oat scones with cinnamon and nutmeg

It was the first time I tried this recipe, and we quite liked the scones. Perfect for a rainy october day with a nice cup of tea.
