Made a spelt flour and pumkin seed loaf. Have only just discovered spelt flour and it's got a really good flavour.

I rarely bake but had some bananas that were well past their best so did a banana bread as it was quick
8oz sr flour, 5 oz castor sugar, 4 oz marg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 big bananas and 2 eggs - combine then add 8oz of dried fruit - I didn't this time and then just baked on low for a couple of hours in a loaf tin. Apart from sponges I'm not much of a baker but enjoy reading what people have made.0 -
I made a big strawberry bakewell tart, and a batch of lemon ice cream. Kept half and gave half to a a friend who was very appreciative

I just got some chocolate brownies out of the oven, I love to eat them while their still warm. This was a lorraine pascal recipe and has broken up oreo biscuits sprinkled on top, yummy!
I love baking but never seem to have the time. This thread gives me more motivation though :j0 -
