No, not quite. I have that recipe and it looks lovely.

The one I'm thinking of comprises White Chocolate, Cream, Inverted Sugar ie liquid glucose and a few other ingredients but I'm not to sure which and what quantises.

I'm trying out my new oven today with the lemon drizzle loaf recipe from BBC Good food as it had such great reviews. I don't have a great baking track record with anything that needs creaming or rising so I'm hoping to break my duck ;)

    Hi everyone!

Today I made some cheese and sweetcorn buns from a Sainsburys recipe card, and some kamut shortbread.

The buns were ok but they stuck to the cases quite a bit :o And the shortbread has DH's approval but I found them to have a funny aftertaste. I used demerara sugar as per the recipe and wondered if that was the reason?

Anyway. Slightly disappointed. But I'm determined to become an accomplished cook! (although at the mo it seems a bit like I'm jinxed!!)

    Over the weekend I cooked:
    1 lemon Meringue Pie

    18 small iced Fairy cakes

    1 Victoria Sponge

    18 chocolate chip cookies

not all for me I hasten to add but for my hollow-legged grandsons who could win the olympics when its comes to HM cakes and the lemon pie was for my son-in-law as he's been feeling a bit down and blue the past few weeks and i thought I'd cheer him up I will make my other son-in-law a coconut and cherry cake next week end so he doen't feel neglected either.
