Not as adventurist as some on here, but got son to make shortbread cookies, whilst I got spag bol in the slow cooker... by time I remembered he was making them, he had eaten half the mix lol.... its only 100g butter, 100g flour (any kind) 50g sugar, u can add almost anything to these, today I added a little vanilla .... bake for around 15mins at 170 degrees.
He has made some icing to put on top. Must add, he is only 4 lolLiving Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

I made home made baked beans a couple of days ago - so much nicer than the tinned ones and so much cheaper too! Ok, maybe not the type of baking this thread is about but I did bake them in the oven for 4 hours
Next time around I may use my slow cooker and make up a huge batch to freeze down ready for quick use. "Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience." Anon.0 -

Mixed grain bread by hand (my second successful loaf in a week :rotfl:) then a batch of chocolate fairy cakes after DH came in early from work looking and feeling poorly. He actually requested tea and biscuits but cake was easier as I don't have to look up quantities

A large carrot and an even larger coffee cake.
Not for me though I bake them for a local coffee shop.
I'm doing a birthday cake today for a friend who asked me to do one for a colleague.
Also a dozen mixed muffins for my daughter for work.
Her turn for cakes.
Hardly anything I bake nowadays is for us sadly, good job though or I'd be huge by now:D.0 -
