Apple crumble. Does that count as baking?

I needed something yummy and filling in case the "mystery casserole" (made from a selection of almost-past-it veg from the bottom of the fridge and veg basket, jazzed up with cinnamon, nutmeg and a good splash of leftover plonk) was a disaster. As it turned out, the casserole was a triumph but there was still room for crumble. :D

ETA: Proper baking now... Having realised there was no bread in the cupboard for DH's morning toast, I've now baked a loaf. Just waiting (at a quarter to two in the morning  ) for it to cool enough to wrap.

Yesterday I made some basic sweet buns (Like a mix between rock cake & fairy cake) and today I made sultana biscotti :)

It was my first attempt at biscotti, but it was such a triumph I will be making several more batches very soon (well, I already have the ingredients in). I also have plans for some cherry coconut blondies :D
