    Second the sweetie comment !! And also the BeRo book rock buns recipe - I've had that wee book for about a million years and everything always turns out perfect. I like the rock buns... :)
  • after finding this thread....!!! i was inspired...

    so far have made twinks hobnobs (double the quantity?? i got 45 cookies out of that recipe!!), some honeycomb (i burnt last night's), chocolate orange cookies, shortbread, sweet pastry for jam tarts & mince pies which i'm about to fill/bake...

    last night i made Bill Granger's Cereal bars - yum...

    and i need to go make some sausage rolls & a lasagne.....

    going to thoroughly enjoy reading this thread through - have been looking for sweety recipes for over christmas!

    I love the Advent Wreath, and of course the food looks delicious.
    Put the oven on for tea so made the most of it and made - homemade oven chips, breaded chicken breast, apple crumble (made by DS age 14) and some buns which will be covered in chocolate later.

    Can I ask how your making the choc and ginger twinks please?? I have the basic twink recipe but I'm interested in your version ;)
