  • hey well today i have baked a dozen bounty muffins, a white sandwich loaf and a seeded sandwich loaf which is sitting in the freezer now, some turkish flat breads, spicy carrot and lentil soup for tea tomorrow and then i made pizzas for dinner tonight fancy baking something to take with me tomorrow up to my dads but don't have a clue what any ideas massive baking store cupboard so most things are possible

    Today I have bakes chocolate chip and caramel brownies .... they smell delicious! Cannot wait... :D
  • Been a busy bee today...

    - cheese & marmite straws
    - mushroom, spinach & goats cheese wellingtons
    - tomato soup
    - green tomato chutney
    - sundried tomato, goats cheese & olive tarts
    - double chocolate brownies

    Soup got eaten for lunch, straws have nearly all gone, wellingtons are for this evening's dinner and I'm not sure the brownies won't have disappeared by the time I go back downstairs either :eek:

    no-knead bread that turned out to be delicious! Best crust I've had on bread in ages :)

    was really happy with the outcome and although not baking i also made a chocolate trifle, gosh i've been busy!

  • shortbread today and a big lump of beef to be turned into meals for the week and the freezer

  • Today I made Victoria sponge filled with buttercream and home made goosberry jam
    2 doz pear and bananna muffing
    24 digestive biscuits (a bit dry definately need a cuppa with them)
    24 cherry biscuits
    Honey and saffron christmas cake (smells great)
    I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.
  • I have been reading this thread and it's great!:j Since reading this i have got back into baking and the kids are loving all the cakes etc.
    So today i have baked Rock buns, Gingercake, Hobnobs, and a fruit loaf. delish and plenty for pack lunches for the next few days:D

    I made some more of these while I had the oven on earlier and have already eaten 2 pieces :o

    Do you think they would freeze ok? Last time I made them they didn't keep for very long.
