I've baked an apple and blackberry traybake, and sultana and apricot flapjack. I'm going to put them in a box wrapped in ribbon as a thankyou to my mum who has been a real help recently, financially and emotionally!

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

I made some madeleines, using my lovely new tin from Lakeland. Yet another thing from my Weightwatchers recipe book!

I brought one of those tins on Monday angeltreats and am looking forward to using it for the first time :)

Today I have baked maple and pecan muffins for breakfast and vanilla cupcakes, fancy iced biscuits and a great big pile of scones for my birthday tea. We ate them with lots of homemade jam and whipped double cream Mmmmmmm

My wonderful friend Marie baked me a fantastic birthday cake as well. So now I am stuffed, but in a good way. :D
