I made 2 key lime pies for the weekend (I did a test run last week to make sure the base stayed crunchy for 2 days after baking)

I made some raspberry buns (a biscuit tin full) and a scrummy chocolate cake. It's just waiting for me to buy more chocolate spread to put in the middle.

They are going with us when we go off for the Bank Holiday weekend to the caravan. :T
:hello:  please play nicely children !

i made a batch of sausage roll's early and i use royal canadian cheese on the top, wow it is gorg. can't see these sausage rolls lasting long.

also i made a chocolate and vanilla marble tray bake. again i'm very surprised how yummy it is. i decieded to make it whle cooking tea and i had one hand mixing the cake and the other hand stiring the sauce for the dinner. and yet the cake has prob turned out to be one of my best yet. i really didn't pay any attention to it. i always use mary berry recipes so they are always light and fluffy and moist. but this is just scrummy. whatever i did , i so want to be able to do that again.

I've never yet found a Mary Berry recipe that doesn't work beautifully :) I've made that traybake too, it's gorgeous.

I made a malt loaf in the breadmaker because I was too tired to bother doing it by hand. It was nearly a disaster because my breadmaker recipes are in cups and I forgot one cup of flour (used 1 1/2 instead of 2 1/2) and only realised when I spotted a little malty puddle in the bottom about half an hour into the cycle... chucked in another cup of flour and lucky it was fine :rotfl:

We (the kids and me, ok well mostly me) made 3 big '5 a day Cottage pie' - Mince with Carrots, Onions, peas and gravy and topped with mash potato and swede and a little cheese for dairy! Brill for the freezer and big enough to have as a complete meal! also, homemade bread, Damson jam, Crabapple and ginger jam, 2 damson cobblers, twinks and 2 carrot cakes (minus the topping as I ran out of cream cheese:( )! I'm also thinking of some Jam tarts after reading the threads on here as I've never made them before :) this is the first time I've made Damson Cobbler, do you think it will be ok to freeze?

  • I made a blackberry & apple crumble last night. Hope it will be ok cos the blackberries (from the local park) had been in the fridge for 3-4 days before using them.

I made bounty balls (fab recipe from recipe thread) and chocolate flapjacks.

I'm really chuffed with how they have turned out, the waistline's not so pleased tho...
