  • Evening all. Just like BHB I'm FAFFING in front of my log burner. Need to go outside to get more logs soon though, brrrr! (Not chop them down, though, just grab more from the log store, in case you were wondering) Fay - 3/28 please. I have my fluffy pink socks on, a fluffy blue bathrobe and a glass of diet coke in hand. Have a lovely evening everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I'm FAFFING with a pizza and coleslaw and orange squash watching on iplayer So You Think You Can Dance

    Bring on the FAFFER's!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllll, went to get the straw cut and my hairdresser (age 22) told me how she fell over and banged her head on the ice when she was drunk at Christmas. A few years ago and more I would have laughed about it whereas now I thought oh dear how's your head and watch out for the concussion

Made me see how much my thinking has changed over the years

Am now on a humungous 3 AFD for Feb - only felt tempted in M+S when I glanced down the alcohol isle while waiting in the till queue and saw the gin bottle and the pink fizzy stuff. Glanced away quickly and got on with queuing :D

Not tempted at all now and squash is going down nicely and the waist is expanding rapidly :o

A thought popped into my head about what we could call March MAFF? March Alcohol Free Fantastic?

    Hi,

Just found this thread and wanted to say well done to whoever started it :-) I have given up drinking mon- fri since Jan 1st and was surprised at how hard I have found it. I used to have 1/2 bottle of wine on a Tue and the other half on a Thursday when I was at home with my hubby, and without realizing it, it became a real habit. Feel much healthier for not drinking Mon- Fri and now just have a few glasses of wine if I'm out and about on the weekend...

One thing I didn't realise is just how dehydrated alcohol makes you, during the week I now drink 3-4 pints of water everyday (feel a bit like a beached whale, but a healthy beached whale.) :-)
