  • 18 for me please, HB

Must dash as usual. Going out for lunch today so that's a treat. Hopefully have time to catch you all later. Just read Fay's post about being AF until 11:00 pm - I did that on Friday. Collected DD2 from restaurant in my car, got home at 10:40 and decided to treat myself with some wine - drank the whole bottle, felt rough yesterday. But Mr PIR was away, it was peaceful, nobody was bothering me and I felt so relaxed and good about things.

Probably a mistake, but I really think it did me good. However, I looked like the back of a bus yesterday, so not good in that area. And I left something I'd bought in WHSmith, so got to go back today, cos head was a bit fuzzy. And I couldnt find my handbag cos I'd put it somewhere where i don't normally keep it, so lost time there. So don't think it was such a good idea after all!!

But things have been very stressful here recently with A levels and GCSE build-up, plus the usual Mr PIR nonsense.

Just had three glasses of wine last night, so not too bad.

Back on the old AF now probz until next Sat.

    Bi all

    xx

    Good afternoon everyone.

I was very boring on the breakfast front - just toast!

Shelly, you are in the right place - welcome and I am sure that so many of us can relate to what you have sritten in your poat - I know I do.

I've spent all day working on the house trying to sort out some of the chaos . Of course the chaos is an almost direct result of a weeks worth of guests and drinking (and the drinking continued well after the guest had left so...). As soon as I have a drink all thought of doing anything useful disappears - it's like I can fell hte energy draining away. Then the next day I feel tired and lethargic and can't be doing with ayhting because of what I drank the night before. Then, just as I get over feeling carp and can do something productive it's almost beer o'clock. What a stoopid pattern of behaviour.
So, none for me tonight - think I will do the ironing in front of TV.

Have a good sunday evening everyone.
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • Afternoon everybody, will have a re read of all the posts. Feel rough today, head banging, tired and irritable and feel like I have wasted yet another Sunday feeling hungover. Am going to try and stay AF all next week and the weekend as I get so low and angry with myself the day after a night of drinking. I know I will be fine during the week but by Friday I will be finding it hard to resist the call of the wine. I have been kidding myself that its ok to go mad at the weekend if I've been good in the week but drinking my weekly units allowance in one night has got to stop. How I envy people who can stop at just one glass of wine.

:D That was what I thought when I looked at myself in the mirror today. It's terrible what a few days of drinking will do to my complexion. I need to go on Extreme Makeover I think.

I felt a bit guilty about the jam tart brekkie so I'm having an olive and tomato salad and a 7 vegetable soup for lunch. I will just have to try and not eat a whole loaf of bread with it like I do usually.:p
