Hi all,
Well done to everyone doing so well on the challenge.
No AFness here this week so far. Don't know why really. I did 7 days on the trot recently but finding it hard again. I should be AF on Thursday and Friday as I'm going out. Maybe that will start me off again. I hope so.

Hiya,
Loads of respect, and embarrassed shuffling in a British way..
I'm a 36 year old bloke, and I should be better at this!
Nearly 7 years is amazing by the way.

Hmm. Lots of the lovely, kind, generous, supportive folks on here are women. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.0

Morning all
I've just had precisely 7 hours and 46 minutes sleep (that's how long it was before my alarm was due to go off when I laid my head down on my pillow last night) and I am still exhausted!!! I think it's because of the new routine and getting my head round stuff that's confusing.
Roll on the weekend where, yes Budge, I have planned a duvet day
I'm doing okay so far, managed to complete all tasks given over the last 3 days, things will get more difficult sooner or later, but I'll deal with that when I get to it. People seem really nice, though haven't learnt many names yet as there's over 100 staff! Even the kids are quite nice from what I've met so far, it's a grammer school and they are 'supposed' to be the elite, the ones that one day will be our doctors and scientists or running the country....so far every one of them has said good afternoon or good morning and held doors open for me....in my old school some of the year 6's would stick their foot out to trip you up :rotfl:
Anyway, best go, I am running late as usual but I'm off to Tesco for when it opens at 8am to get refreshments for a function that's on at the school today, so I'm not rushing so much today
Hope everyone's okay, I've only been able to scan read.
Sim, hope you are okay today. Men are the bain of my life
Ahem......anybody read the FB birthday notifications this week
Have a marvelous day everybody

I used to feel this way too Sim.
I would attempt (and I mean really try) to live life without alcohol. However, after a few days or weeks, I would be a miserable so and so. Thus I would drink again.
It was only when I realised I couldn't do this by myself and needed help that I became willing to change.
I have ALCOHOLISM - the ALCOHOL I now leave in the bottle, but the ISM is within me. That's why I needed to change.
And it was the best thing I have ever done0
