Sorry to hear about your friend MissP. I think we're all guilty of not keeping up with friends as much as we'd like, life sort of gets in the way! I think you should definitely pop round with that note.

Glad those tall people will be home today fay, now you can all start enjoying life in your new home. I had a laugh reading about your car the other day. My brother's (who lives in Swindon incidentally MissP) Citroen broke down a few years ago when his children were teenagers. The garage lent a courtesy car which was a red Berlingo. The children said it was like Postman Pat's van and hid in the back so that none of their friends would see them!

It's a beautiful day here and I feel I should really push myself to get outside but not very motivated at the moment.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their Thursday!

Okay so I just got home and he was painting my door step.....I have a VERY big door step. He doesn't speak much English, he's Eastern European so pretty nice to look at so I'll let him off for that. He told me that the paint will dry in half hour. I said I wasn't willing to be stood with my shopping and my youngest daughter outside my house for half hour. He laughed (?????). So I rung eldest daughter who thankfully was in and she came to the door and had to catch said shopping and youngest daughter and I long jumped into the house. I have to go to the station to pick OH and DS up soon, I have no idea how I'm going to get out

Man carried on painting and completely ignored the fiasco that ensued....

Unfortunately, all 9 men will soon watch me leap out of my front door and fall flat on my face :undecided

    Good news!!

Just had a call from friend thats supposed to be in intensive care!!:D I popped a note through their door this morning and she just found it. Apparently she HAS been in hospital but because she fell out of bed and knocked herself out!!! No brain haemmorage and no intensive care...

....I'm off to kill the idiot now that told me she was so ill....

I'm going for coffee with her tomorrow...she says she is quite poorly with the tumour but is managing at the moment. On very strong drugs etc. I'm just glad she's still with us!:T:T

    Miss P
    xx
