Am going to have to dig out my hot water bottle... :o

Hopefully it will help with my shoulder too, which has been horribly painful recently & kept me awake in the small hours for ages last night :(

Shall log off before I do myself any more damage!

Morning everyone! It's 10 to 6 and I've been awake since 4am. Can't sleep to save my life at the moment. Can't blame the booze cos been AF since 1st April. Oh well, it's lovely and quiet (apart from the dog snoring on the couch next to me - wish I could sleep like her!) Announcing a Huffy Total of 7 now WBF and it's the last day of our latest challenge Sparkles. Have a lovely Thursday everyone xx

Good morning, I am yet again here on my early morning letter writing duties. Only one short letter to one DCA and one job application. I am actually very excited about this job as it is right down my street despite being 100 miles away from here - IYKWIM.

Better go and get our packed lunches done - DD is in nursery for this and next week so no school dinners for her.

Have a great big HUFF everyone today!!!

    Morning everyone

    7 for me please WBF

In an odd mood today. Had some bad news last night - a friend of mine who has had a brain tumour for about 7 years (been through loads of treatments and ups and downs) collapsed yesterday with a brain haemorrage (sp)and is in intensive care. I hadn't seen her for a while and am feeling incredibly guilty about that. I'm going to pop a note through their door today. Admittedly she wasn't a close friend but still makes me feel like a crap friend IYKWIM?

Also bit annoyed with OH - last night at 10pm he decided to tell me he used the last of the bread and butter at 5pm when he had about 6 slices of toast. So I have no breakfast. Like I had none Sunday when him and the kids all had loads of toast and left just crusts. I could feel that anger and resentment seething away. So I went and grabbed "living sober" and had a mooch through the Anger chapter (I seem to be living in that chapter at the moment:eek:). I think its certainly helping ...reading through the ideas there prevented me from blowing my top at him over something as inconsequential as toast. Yes, it WAS thoughless of him to do it, but wasn't the end of the world and is easily sorted. He WILL learn I am not the only grocery provider in this house!:D This is one of the things that I CAN change, with some organisation.

Sorry, to go on...rambling and moaning on about TOAST for christ sake. I really need to put things in perspective!

Jo - hope you had a lovely day yesterday. Me and Piglet shared some Angel slices in your honour!:D

HB - hope your painful shoulder eased off and allowed you some sleep

    Miss P
    xx

P.s And I'm losing my voice! Think I've got Piglets bug!!!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
