Hi all,

Nothing deep from me today...had a few moments of "ugh, work" last night when I got in and I mentally saw myself a third of a way down a vodka bottle with coke.

Hungry? Yes. Angry? Yes. Lonely? No Tired? Yes.....

It went soon enough but I often get that feelign that caused me so much aggro in the past... the trick is in dealing with it...and my clear head does a good job when it's given chance.

Well done Bis for staying strong and overcoming the thoughts and feelings triggers

Great explanation of how it leaves me feeling some days. Emotional feelings making me see myself drink a glass of wine and an open bottle.

Hungry - yes and no
Angry - yes
Lonely - yes
Tired - no

Never saw this in this way before - looks like angry and lonely are the main triggers for me and consequently focus of dealing with negaive emotions in a more positive way

No plans to drink tonight meaning will be another AFD today. Bought a scrummy jam roly poly and custard for pud as a treat and never mind the waistline at the moment!

Hello,

I almost convinced myself that I could have some cider tonight. But of course I can't so there we are. Perhaps next time when BF is here I might have a glass as I know I would then stop there and that wouldn't be breaking the rules i.e. not to drink home alone. However I don't think I can have even a drop of sherry ever again.

Have had nice day out with DD and we are both pretty tired now. Won't venture out again today so 30 for me please HB.

BHB: just as curiosity. If one wanted to have a smallholding to buy/rent how would one find out what is available as after googling it found numerous sites that seem not being updated anymore. Purely pipedream but would like to know.
