BHB - Just noticed the pigs are in the photos and I couln't help but think off your reference to bacon sandwiches:eek:_pale_
:D:D Lurky's DS2 doesn't see the problem
:D:D
5 weeks and a bit until 'B' day ..... actually 7 weeks cause the bacon takes a couple of weeks to cure after butchering :rotfl:(Sorry 115K & others of the vegetarian variety:))
On a more Alcohol orientated note, I'm considering my options here. The plan was to take Disulfiram / Antabuse in March and to stop altogether. I made the mistake of reading about it and now feel its quite a drastic action to take for my 'meagre' intake of alcohol. I also am thinking that I'm taking up resources at the Addiction place that could be better be used by someone else.
I know its better to get it under control before it gets completely out of hand, and thats one argument. But, I can't remember who said it a couple of weeks ago (WB?) that I can't see myself getting any worse than I am now as I am very much aware of the dangers, consequences and the 'controlling' property of alcohol.
My next appointment at the clinic is in a couple of weeks, but I think I was doing better with you lot over the last couple of years especially when Molly was chasing me :rotfl:.;):D
I am now down to about 34 units a week which is not that far of the RDA, and am still reducing. I just need to get a day or two AF in the week and I will be in a position that I am really happy with. Though I'm very pleased with where I am now compared with where I was before.
On that note I think I may even go as far to say I will definitely go for a small 4 days AF in February. Thats one day each midweek to have a rest on. (Small steps).
Hope everyone has a good day. Unfortunately we've got to drive down to Essex in a little while to try on bridesmaids dresses etc for a wedding in March ....... Not me you understand .... DD2:rotfl: Though I think I would look good in cream :rotfl:....it would look good with the straw sticking out of my boots
So Jo give us a wave - we will be in Writtle all afternoon
I hate the A12, I Hate the A12 ........
Best Wishes
BHB

Never do online banking while watching tennis! I have just given student DS more than twice the monthly allowance he should have and will now have to try to get it back off him .
No time to catch up properly now, it looks like lots of good things going on.
Anyway, on the AF side, all is going well so that is 31 days for me this month as I am not going to drink today whatever happens to Andy Murray0 -
Well - I've done it now. I've emailed them and said that I was going to stop going for now and see how I get on on my tod
So hopefully you guys can keep me on the straight and narrow and under 28 units a week
Mollypolly - please get you whip out and Fay please swish a couple of Willow whips about..... Just enough to keep me under control
Right, off to cook some brunch before we hit the dreaded A12.
Catch ya later

Morning
Ermm not so good last night I'm afraid. Stayed in and drank bottle and half of wine so feeling lousy this morning. I am even more determined to stay on the straight and narrow during Feb. I think checking in here each day will help because I feel a sense of shame and guilt at having to fess up when I give in to the call of the wine.:o
Very well done to Miss Piggy and Changing Ways :T:T:T who have had a fantastic AF month. In fact well done to everyone on here who has had a good month, you are are all truly inspiring.
Well we had snow last night so off to take the kids sledging. Have a lovely Sunday everyone!
