  • Hi Jo!!

    Hi everybody!!

My total is 24 AFDs please HB, and thanks for scoring!!

My target for Feb is 22 please, Fay, and thanks for volunteering (again!)

I've got loads to do and it's already 3:00 pm. I'm working full time at the moment covering a maternity leave. I hate Sunday afternoons now because there's so much to do before I have to leave at 7:10 am tomorrow, then back for 5:00 pm. I'm starting to wonder if it's really all worth it - freelancing from home was lonely, but easier than this

I'm thinking about applying for another, permanent, job, where at least the job would be mine. Doing a maternity cover is quite unsettling - I've got to know the job, but I know I have to give it back - and the new mummy won't give a definite date when she's coming back. She might want to job-share, but doesn't know yet. When I had my first DD, 18 years ago, I knew exactly when I was going back to work and that I wanted to go part time - why can't she just let me know???

Hope everybody is well and happy

    Bi for now

    Hello,

Just back from big stock up shopping trip. Boy - I hate shopping too. I didn't even get everything as Mr A didn't have very impressive flour selection. So I don't have now enough flour for breadmaker bread or pitta breads that I was going to do today. Did get back without the drink so that will be 31 for me please HB.

  • Hi all,
Not been around, life has happened at me this month, taken it on the chin and only faltered once. So happy to report 30/31.
Will try and catch up at some point.

  • Great news Mollypolly!

Hello to all the new faces...good luck with your mission whether it's cutting down or giving up.

Feeling a bit jittery tonight. I'm in court tomorrow as a prosecution witness for an assault (not on me, not on a blue whale, but a friend of mine). Not normally one for being scared but am for tomorrow...mind you it will be worse for her.

Can guess that the day will end in either celebratory drinks or drowning sorrows so will have to EVER so careful as I can imagine I'll be gagging for a drink after all the drama.

But for today I'm very proud to declare 31 please HB.
