Bit of a no brainer really, but I am very aware that for the next week I will have to be very careful not to have 'just the one' Most bizarre thing is...I don't even want a drink.

    Confused!!

    Hi PBT

I can identify with this part - often I didn't want a drink but thought oh what will it hurt I 'll just have one (one is too many a thousand is never enough to borrow a phrase from mp)

Do you feel better for not drinking? I do, my mind is much more active now than I remember in a long time

Good luck if you decide to abstain or moderate and let us all know if you need some extra support to help - we're all here :T

  • PBT, feel the same as you and fedupandskint. Want but don't want. Therefore don't need ?

Morning HB and everyone else on here. Well, I made it, the 96 hour challenge is now over - and I feel great. 4 days AF free - woohoo! Even lost half a pound despite all the Easter choccie so I'm a happy bunny. This week I will use the clothes airer, er treadmill, every single day I promise. Must start losing at least a pound every week till I reach my goal. Off to do a list a la Sparkles and work my way through it. Have a lovely Bank Holiday everyone xx

  • Hi all,

Hope you are having a good bank holiday.
Still 2 for me please WBF when you get back.

I wasn't AF last night and hadn't planned to be. I didn't enjoy
it that much and woke up thinking how could I have been doing
this every evening for  years.

Same as PBT, my boys are away for a few days from tomorrow so
free to do what I want but this time I want to choose to be AF :)

I know what you mean Sparkles, my head feels so much clearer
when AF and I am following your example with my list to keep me
    ocupied today.

    Morning all,

Had half a bottle of champagne last night, finished it off this morning when I got up  .....it was a choklit one from Thorntons with my name on:rotfl:  (pressie from work :D)

Outlaws wasn't too bad yesterday, though I was starving to death and their oven blew up earlier in the day so dinner was very delayed, which meant I nearly turned into a skelaton plus we had to stay there longer *rolleyes*

Still got back at a reasonable hour, watched cloudy with a chance of meatballs or whatever it's called with the kids (on again now) and then 2012 which was a complete waste of time. The meatball film is totally hysterical, these kids films are more for adults these days!

Haven't got off the starting block yet on the huffing front, but only had a guinness a night....

Looking forward to making something totally yummy for dinner tonight out of my new Asian Cookbook which was given to me as a leaving pressie. I made chilli beef with basil the other night which was AMAZING!! Tonight I will have to cook something with minced beef as I have that in already, spicy meatballs perhaps or I have ear marked the spicy meat fritter page

Have a good bank holiday all, hope you don't get stuck in the queue at B&Q to leave the car park :rotfl:
