One the one hand we have conditioned ourselves over the years into thinking and believing the thoughts that alcohol will make us feel better, act better and use our time better.
On the other hand we have now started to think and believe that it will not do any of these things we previously believed. Alcohol has a clever advertising campaign that is overwhelming in its temptation
I'm not preaching to you I just wanted to explain how I felt and how I have moved away from these feelings which feel like they pull you apart at time and they felt like they tortured my mind - not anymore
Thanks for this Sparkles
I haven't got to where you are yet but I hope I'm heading there.
I still feel the temptation a lot but now when I do drink, I find I
don't get what I used to from it because of being on here and
realising how much I want to cut down.
Ii is a bit of a strange place to be. My AF evenings are quite difficult
and my non-AF ones are not much fun either so all in all a bit carp
both ways.I do feel much better in the daytime after being AF
so that's a good thing.
