Blimey, Jo - good luck to you. DC and Sparkles - shall we go dog walking together tomorrow? Mind you, with DC's "mad dog" and my naughty one, it'll certainly be eventful. By the way, who's organising the summer get together? Would be lovely for us all to meet up.

This is from the Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue website. I think it's so beautiful & it's made me want to cry. I think you guys will like it.
    Baggage

    By Evelyn Colbath
    From the Shelter Dog

    Will You Help Me Unpack?"
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
and all nicely tucked in my warm new bed,
I should unpack my baggage, lest I forget,
There is so much to carry, so much to regret...

Hmm...Yes there it is, right on top, let's first unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,
And there by my leash hides Fear and hides Shame,
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave,
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.

I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
but I wasn't good enough for they didn't want me.
Will you add to my baggage? Will you help me unpack?
Or recoil from my things and take me right back?

Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage, and never repack?
I pray that you do, for I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage.
    Do you still want me?

    25mins cardio
    Shower and change[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]get in the garden and make a start on tidying it up
    Lunch and cuppa[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Carry on with the garden
    Tidy up[/STRIKE]
    Walk dog
    Eat lots of chocolate
    Bath
    Yoga
    Make something nice for tea
    Order trees and plants

HB - what a beautiful poem, made me cry too. Mookie (my doggie in case you hadn't guessed) is a rescue dog and she has an awful lot of baggage but we all adore her and wouldn't be without her, even though she causes us problems with her strange and unpredictable behaviour (but that's another story LOL). I'll change my avie so you can see her. Toddles off to find a tissue ...

Yes a beautiful poem. My doggie is a recus dog from a family who didn't want him anymore. He too came with lots of little baggage but I wouldn't be without him and he is adorable too

Only fault is far too giddy towards other dogs

What's the appropriate way to eat a chocolate bunny, do you think? Ears first? Smash it in & then just eat bits, a la an Easter Egg? Oh it's a bears life sometimes... :rotfl:

:eek::eek: Oh Dear Honey B that is so wrong and inhumane (sp), the correct way is to go from the bottom upwards, thus leaving the lovely bunny face and ears until last. As you will be quite full from the chocolate already consumed, you can then delicately eat the face and ears. Giving of course the upmost consideration to the fateful plight of the said Bunny :) I hope this helps? Don't just think a bunny is for Easter, they can be of course enjoyed at any time of the year ;) Btw loved the poem, it does make you think? Bunny Hugs and eat carefully my Dear Bear Friend. Waves a paw  Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Its very quiet on here?
I do hope you are all enjoying your Easter break?

My Ds goes back to London tomorrow, Budgie is already sad at the thought.

Still life goes on etc. I shall adopt Dear Fedup's resolve to keep busy and motivated, way to go girly, you are doing great. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxx

Miss P, I am sure our adorable piglet will not mind some choccie nicking, in the nicest sense. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Darling JO hugs and I hope the outlaws are bearable? Or they at least buy mega big choccie eggs? Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mookie and Dc nice to see you both about this weekend, Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxx

So everyone Budgie must fly, after all I spent nearly 2 hours on a b and q car park last night, in the interests of being a good mother I hasten to add ;)

So Happy Easter to all our lovely members, hope you all come back soon, a Budgie could wonder ...................... She's back but where is everyone else :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Love ya (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
