    Morning all

Happy mothers day to all the lovely mums on here :D

Thanks for sending us flowers YM ;)

DB, sorry to here about your DS, that must be worrying. I've tried to google it but nothing really comes up so I think you might be right and maybe it is stress-related. How old is he and what does he do?

Me4, welcome to the thread and good luck with your giving up/cutting down quest! Headaches are perfectly normal especially when you are used to drinking alcohol everyday no matter how little. Sleeplessness is extremley common and also vivid dreams. Let us know how you're getting on x

    Morning to everyone else

Kids have pampered me since 8am which is nice, little'uns bought me a different box of chocs each from the choc shop in town and big'un bought me a lovely towel, new nail manicure set (old one gone awol?), a mug and a new note book and pen set, she thought it would help me in my new job :) so I've been very lucky. Told OH I was very much looking forward to the beautiful meal he was going to cook me this evening, he looked blank so I took the lamb shanks out of the freezer *rolleyes* :rotfl:

Off to mummies today, got to take her to a Comet branch to look at a TV as her one has broke and after 2 weeks the insurance company finally sent someone to look at it and he said it was deemed unrepairable so recommended this one. She said that apparently we have to go and look at it and decide if it's acceptable then order it. I'm very confused, surely when you see it you just ring up the insurance company and say yes send that one, why do we have to order it from Comets? Surely there is no outlay from us, they just send a new one? Anyone have any experience with TV insurance?

Have a great day everyone, hope all you mums are pampered :D

*Last* time we gort burgled (rolleyes) - we had to go an dorder everything from one of the insurance company's designated suppliers, then they took care of the bill

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D

  • Happy Mother's day to all the mummies.

Had coffee and peanut butter on toast delivered to me in bed. Bless.

He bought me a garden trowel and fork set....said he wanted to buy me some daffodils too but spent the money on chocolate instead (for himself!) Ah well it's the thought that counts eh?

Another gorgeous day here.....will be spending the day generally pottering and chilling.

    Have a good one all.

I need to go out to buy food &, more importantly, milk but can't be arrised to do anything :o

Also need to do more spring cleaning but ditto above :o:o

Have been pondering the "waking up in your ideal life" idea, as muted the other day & I have to admit I'm really struggling with it, which is a bit worrying *shrug*

Couldn't push through it last night, DS2 was making his wonderful HM pizza dough (bestest recipe of Jamie Olivers ever !) and kitchen was covered in rocket, parmesan, goats cheese etc, a glass of rose called and I went with it.
Still I'm happy with my 9 so far.

DecemberBaby, how old is DS ? My 15yo is out of sorts, getting dizzy spells, head rushes etc, off to the docs this week. Thinking it's exam/school pressure/body changes but checking him out anyway.

You know what a therapist would say don't you....So, tell me what areas are you struggling with (I'm sure Lillith will put me staright if that's wrong!)

    I know :o

I think I get really blinkered about my lfie & I just pootle along, more concerned with others than me. I'm sure there's an element of "deserving" in my thought process, ie.I don't deserve things. No, don't ask me to qualify that one any further, I don't know! It just popped into my brain as I was typing.

It's like I'm just drifting through without an aim or a goal *shrug again*. Maybe it goes back to fear & I'm scared of visualising what I want & going for it, in case it doesn't happen or, & this feels truer to me, in case it does

This is real stream of consciousness thinking. Maybe I should go & do my cleaning instead!
