    Morning all :)

Shaggy, don't even ask, no change here thanks.

Life been very very emotional this week, what with starting with the nervousness of the interview, panic of the ill DD2 before interview, getting job, handing notice in, then my colleagues (2nd mum)'s husband passing yesterday. I think it particularly hit me because they have 3 daughters and one rushed and picked her up and they got there 20 minutes before he died, but the other 2 worked further away and didn't make it, that has really upset me and I can't stop crying, it's ridiculous *confused*

Mookie, sorry, wasn't around last night. Good luck with your application. My only advice is to read the person/job spec through and make notes. If you have to do a supporting statement, make sure you go through the spec and mention everything on there that you already have experience in and with the things you don't, try and think of examples of similar things you've done. Also try to add something that's not mentioned but you'd think is useful. Let us know how you got on!

ah well....look at the time  (HB :p) best dash, whilst my colleague has time off work for her bereavement, I'll have to do her job.

Having a really bad day here....my closest colleague's husband passed away earlier today, he had cirrosis of the liver and knew it was terminal. They rung her at work to say it was iminent and off she went to him. She rang me half hour later to say he'd gone :(

OMG. That is so so sad. (((Hugs)) sweetie.

  • Hope the weekend passes as best it can Fay - the snowdrop garden sounds lovely.

Jo - it's only natural and normal to feel how you are - it was a terrible thing to happen. Poor you and well done for covering her work.
