  • Hi everyone....

Pleased to say I'm still AF.

Except for my Christmas day blow out it will be 4 months sober for me tomorrow!

Only managed to catch up on the last two pages but big hugs for all that need and well done's to a lot of you especially Castri....you seem to be doing really well.

The habit of drinking is really broken for me now. So much in fact that it doesn't enter my head in the evenings. It's sometimes hard to remember what it was like when I drinking so heavily.

Unfortunately finance wise it's all gone to pot!!! Payday today and need to do some serious belt tightening all round...might help if I can be arsed to do my Petrol Expenses! Manyana manyana!

    Night All. x

What fun things one can do when one hasn't had a drink. I just wrote a letter to council inviting them to take me to court :rotfl: Somehow I don't think they are going to do it but if they will they don't know what hit them. Night night!

So many of you to keep up with I think we have 41 faffers this month :) remember the great quote:

'to err is human - to faff is divine'

SO a bit of a budgie-style update - which I am not known for!!!! Apologies to anything I get wrong - I'm hoping to get a peedie bit of a virtual hug to all of you :D where you're name is there is a score ie for 115k its 12/9 - the first number is pledged faffs - the second number is my idea of what you might have faffed - if you're faffing in secret and not telling me - then please let me know :D deep breathes and here we go - apologies if I miss anyone - I'm not great at this remembering stuff lark! (eg I know many of you have interviews this month or next - but I can't exactly remember who - so good luck :)) We've had time machines, disputes about Dr Who and reports from accross the nation of all your faffs - how will you be faffing for the remaining few days - these will never come again - so embrace your faff-weekend and keep those reports coming in! There is an alert out reporting the number of baths related to faffing - don't be too alarmed - sources expect this trend to keep rising as the nation embraces faffing in the bath as a regular evening pastime and predictions are that this AF bathing phenomena will continue throughout the year.

I tell you what - I'm all faffed out :rotfl:big thanks to our lovely tools like HALT and various internet tools we've used this month - books like living sober and the good old friendship, support and lack of any sort of judgement we are grateful for every day on this thread if we should decide not to FAFF.

I've enjoyed hearing how you all FAFF - I've even started to think to myself 'How will I be faffing tonight........', I think HALT and make sure I'm well fed/drunk a cuppa before I venture home.

    Small steps folks..............................:A

    Thought for the day:

I was up last night until about 11.30. Was just about to go to bed and my youngest daughter comes in complaining that she was too hot.

So I go through and settle her down. And come back and think to myself - THAT'S one great thing about being sober. In another time I would have been barely conscious and resentful of being interrupted from a bad "sleep". AS it was, she goes to sleep feelign cared for.

    Small things....

    take care everyone!
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
