Thought for the day:
I was up last night until about 11.30. Was just about to go to bed and my youngest daughter comes in complaining that she was too hot.
So I go through and settle her down. And come back and think to myself - THAT'S one great thing about being sober. In another time I would have been barely conscious and resentful of being interrupted from a bad "sleep". AS it was, she goes to sleep feelign cared for.

Hi everyone. Thanks to Shaggy for offering to keep score in March - can you put me down for 27 please (cos I do tend to have an odd one now and again). Thanks to Fay for scoring in February, you've been brilliant and full of good ideas and support. I ended up having 2 glasses of wine last night at home which isn't like me (any more) but I found the bottle that I'd hidden away on New Year's Day and just HAD to have it. Which proves to me that I just can't have the stuff in the house any more. Oh well, never mind. Definitely an AF weekend cos I'm all headache-y today which reminds me why I decided to stop drinking in the first place! Will stock up on the Diet Coke, lime juice and soda water.
