 when i lived in Bristol i stood and queued whilst two men held the off licence up at gun point in front of me, I was then shocked that they wouldn't serve me after the robbers had left as it was the only one open at that time of night :A

Morning all. V. down in the dumps :( Dunno why *shrugs* Mouth sore, nothing to eat in the house and no money to replenish. I need to earn more money cos this is not working at all.

Tried to pay for the car insurance twice yesterday, first time it timed-out and then the second time it welcomed me back (think I'd already told you this bit? *confused*), anyway, didn't get a confirmation email so rang them this morning and they say there is nothing on the system about me buying insurance apart from 2 quotes which were done yesterday. I asked, when then, is £42.50 tracking in my Quidco account *confused* and said obviously by now ringing you and sorting it out that's void? I've got the blokes name and he assures me it will take about 3 months but I will get the cashback. I better :naughty:

So, car is MOT'd, Taxed and Insured, but I have no petrol and no money to buy any :undecided

Can you tell my 'top of the world' feeling has still not surfaced :)

Oh and OH presented with me a nice little valentines day card this morning but I couldn't afford to buy him one, so that was embarrassing :o

Then in the next breath I asked him for money as I have none and need to go to the laundrette, which I add is only for him as he needs his uniform. And we need food and we are bout to run out of electric, oh and I need a couple of quid for petrol. He told me to get £20 out and give the £10 to DD1 that he owes her. I said that I don't think £10 will pay for the other stuff (laundrette alone, for the smallest machine, is over a fiver, electric will be £6 so that £11. Then we need to feed 5 of us. So he begrudgingly said take £30 then. We are really stuggling this month.

    Sorry to moan :p

I missed this Jo in the frenzy that enshued

Hugs lady - I hope you get sorted

I got OH a valentines card, he didnt get me one - so that makes all four of us even eh?

    xx

    Happy Valentines Day all.

    2007 was ropey.
    2008 was frosty.
    2009 was OK ish
2010 is far better than any I can really remember.

    Nothing spectacular. Just being.

    Me.

    And us.

    And feeling, well....well.

    And at peace.

    take care all.

    Bis

    P.S.

I had a thought earlier this week that we have so much power to make changes....so much ability to make a difference...and so much capacity to hurt others.

And if I am feeling low,I think of how much damage I've not caused by generally trying to do the right thing.

I hope that the children will never know how close to complete meltdown we all came. And if I feel they do need to know, in years to come if they have their own demons, I hope I am able to help.

    Please everyone, take care!
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

  • I'm still AF....embracing step 4 (i think) and having a bloody good clear out.

Trouble is it's at that 'worse before it gets better' stage and i'm escaping on here with a cup of coffee.

Hugs to you Faye..this time of year is pretty crap for me too but ..... Life for PBT is better than it has been for a long long time due mostly in part to being AF.

    Have a good day all.
