Well it makes sense if you look at the local newspaper web page

Insert confused smiley again - :) morning JO - missing my phone!!

Tescos are going to stock local orkney herring in their shops (its yummy) so that's front page news as well as the local 'love triangle' murder trial

I did actually read the paper too, just thought your post sounded funny, so flippant :rotfl:

Good news on the herring, bad news on the love triangle. I went into the local shop the other evening and the till was wide open, no money in it and police taking a statement, no doubt that will feature in this weeks local *rolleyes*

    Good for you :A

Jo I know sorry - its a local joke here - no crime generally - unless its a murder - honestly - its very odd - usually crimes of passion as well. Bit of a funny place here - love triangle on a tiny island of 500 folks - that's never going to end very well - terrible really.........(sorry if sounded a bit flippant) :o its just the irony of it all.

 to local shop being robbed

That's the difference to living here in London, I didn't bat an eyelid about the police in the shop and they didn't bat an eyelid when I walked in there took a 2-pinter of milk and shoved a quid at the shop owner over the counter whilst in the middle of statement giving.......it's a regular occurance

 Good morning everyone (it is still morning isn't it?)

Great news about the Ugg boots lamarsi, I think calories and money are the best motivation.

Sorry to hear about Darwin and your failed plans for lunch fay. Hopefully you and OH can banish all bad memories of Valentine's Day and replace with good ones. Oh, and what's the difference between crepes and pancakes? Bet they were yummy though, whatever they're called :D

Sending you lots of hugs jo, hope you pick up soon an enjoy your week off.

    Back soon.

 when i lived in Bristol i stood and queued whilst two men held the off licence up at gun point in front of me, I was then shocked that they wouldn't serve me after the robbers had left as it was the only one open at that time of night :A
