Morning chaps
Jo goodluck with the application form
Welcome to any new peeps today -- come join us - you'll feel the better for a FAFF or so
- Tired today - Shaggydoo I so knwo what you mean
Jo - I tried my sim in DD phone last night - didn't work at all - dunno if its frazzled as well tbh - I've dropped it loads of times, typical of me to drop something indoors (I hadn't been drinking) and it goes capputt!
Must get wriggle on as 2 hours to make up for from last week and its also February break from Wed for 3 days -
I've started to read a book about all the issues surrounding the adult children of alcoholics - its been hard to pick up - I idolised my father - although he was an alcoholic.
Been wondering to myself why on earth having FAFF'ed so well so far I decided to have a couple of drinks over the weekend.
The answer came to me in bed - (which I did know all weekend) I want to be normal around alcohol - I know when left to my own devices, alone, I don't have a very healthy relationship with the stuff. I don't think I will ever be 'normal' around the stuff - so its really best avoided. Nuff said really.
Not giving myself a hard time, nice to see my own attitude shifting and knowing that I can't drink often, much or alone. Considering where I was this time last year I see the progress although its slow.
Nice to feel alive rather than fuzzy around the edges.
No phone for me for a couple weeks - I best get something sorted out I suppose
Time to get out of pj's and off to work - lots to do!
PS £8.40 for two drinks - when did buying a drink get so expensive???Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
