Hi BHB,
I am not having a good day ! Nightmare getting DS1 to school. Things are getting so bad that I am seriously considering homeschooling. Does it work well with your son ?

The answer came to me in bed - (which I did know all weekend) I want to be normal around alcohol - I know when left to my own devices, alone, I don't have a very healthy relationship with the stuff. I don't think I will ever be 'normal' around the stuff - so its really best avoided. Nuff said really.
Not giving myself a hard time, nice to see my own attitude shifting and knowing that I can't drink often, much or alone. Considering where I was this time last year I see the progress although its slow.
Me too, however I know that's never going to happen. Myself and alcohol have never had a normal relationship, and never will. Thus I can wallow in self pity about it, or just get on with my life and live it as happily as possible. The only way I can do that is by not picking up that first drink.
The changing relationship with alcohol is very slow as it is a deep, long standing relationship that has formed over decades. It isn't easy to change it quickly unless you really want it to happen.0 -

:j Well done on upping the target BHB.
Remember procrastination is the FAFF of time
(I think this means that you shouldn't put off FAFFing just go for it!)
40SM, don't have personal experience of home-schooling but know people who have and this may sound very harsh... but it makes for a very different lifestyle, can be hugely time-consuming and you don't get the time apart from your child that maybe is needed for re-charging. I think this is what needs considering most, you can always learn what's needed to fulfil the curriculum. Hugs to you and I'm thinking of you.0
