Thanks for the long explanation of the adams vouchers. Useful to me also. Someone else on another site also mentioned to me that some stores are franchises and so don't accept the nectar vouchers. So I'm going to check with the store before I order any.
I will also ask them whether I can use the nectar vouchers to buy some Adams gift vouchers. If I get positive responses then chances are that I'll exchange all of my points. Otherwise, I'll look carefully, see if there is anything I want and then exchange the relevant amount.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

the only Adams stores that would not accept the Nectar vouchers would be those in Littlewoods, Allders, New Look etc, those that are stores within a store, all solus stores in the u.k in a high street or shopping centre will accept Nectar vouchers. HTH:)0 -
Has anybody else had any problems with the Eurostar offer?
The offer said you must book between 8-15th of July to travel between 22nd July-31st August. The booking has to be made more than 14 days in advance. So I rang on 8th July(the first day of the offer) to book for the 23rd July and was told they had no details of a new offer and that the child goes free offer had been running since May 28th and therefore all the spaces for the 23rd July had long gone. When I explained that Nectar were this saying this was a new offer that you couldn't even book till 8th July,I was told that it might be that they would get new dates on Monday(10th July).I said but won't it be too late for me to book 14 days in advance by Monday and was told yes it would be. I've since spoken to Nectar customer services to complain that the offer was misleading as there was no way to book for either the 22nd or 23rd if seats had to be booked 14 days in advance and the company had no knowledge of the offer on the 8th and 9th of July.I'm waiting for them to get back to me.
Has anybody else encountered a similar problem? Are any of these free seats actually available or did they all sell out when the offer really started back in May?0 -
Sounds like I can just get my nectar vouchers and then covert the lot into adams gift vouchers. That should give me the time I need in order to spend them. Unless of course there are any weird conditions on the special offer vouchers that is.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Hi All! I had about 12,000 nectar points as I took out their credit card a short while ago and gained 10,000 points! I ordered the gas barbeque that was on the first weeks offer and received it within three days! Very pleased as looking on the internet it seems to be worth near on £100 and as I've only used the card a couple of times and paid the balance off in full so basically got the barbie for nowt! Thats what I call a bargain!:D0

It's 50% week off CD's. Surprisingly, there are some very good offers. New CD's from Razorlight, Thom Yorke, Lily Allen, Fatboy Slim and lots more recent titles are all down as 875 points for each one. This is the equivalent of £4.38 for a chart CD. If you have a stash of Nectar points that you don't know what to do with, perhaps you might want to spend them here. It's certainly music to my ears!0

gazza007 wrote:I think Nectar is a waste of time I collect from my utilities etc but points never seems to have any useful value. IMHO you can't beat Tesco Clubcard Vouchers which are 4x times the value on deals, had many a good day out etc.
I use my Tesco Credit card on all my purchases (Pay off every month)just to get the points + I shop at Tesco too & get loads of vouchers for bonus points.:j
cannot agree with you more. these damn nectar cards are a very poor relative of the tesco clubcard. Hotel and attraction deals are superb with the clubcard.0 -
very happy with this offer for adams I bet the hotline that first day will be busy0
