Crikey just seen Martin's reply - £189 - actually doesnt seem a lot after years of saving them - oh well better than a poke in the eye!

I think Nectar is a waste of time I collect from my utilities etc but points never seems to have any useful value. IMHO you can't beat Tesco Clubcard Vouchers which are 4x times the value on deals, had many a good day out etc.
I use my Tesco Credit card on all my purchases (Pay off every month)just to get the points + I shop at Tesco too & get loads of vouchers for bonus points.:j

Crikey quiggles - £189 for nothing!! I would consider that well worth it and with no effort, you just let them accumulate.

I've got 13,000 plus and I thought I was well off!

I tell you what, I'll be trying to redeem my points for that steel electric fan. Well worth it in this weather!

It's worth pointing out some of those offers may not be quite as good as they seem. My local Sainsbury's has a four-person tent similar to that shown - maybe identical - for only £24.99 which works out cheaper than the Nectar points redemption.

Got my eye on that adams offer. Must mark it in my diary so I don't forget to take a look at the time.

Have just tried to order a box through the nectar site and there isn't a summer box of 12 on offer. I phoned Laithwaites and they tell me that offer has ended as it was while stocks lasted only.

I would have agreed until I got 10,000 bonus points for test driving a ford mondeo. Even if I spend in Sainsburys that works out at £50 for the hour out of my life it took.
