  • You can donate points to charity, there is a link on the Nectar website

I am sure they would be delighted to benefit from such a generous donation.

Someone might be interested (now I've done the figures) . . . NECTAR's current discount on the Nikon Coolpix L4 Digital Camera (was 26,400 points)
    currently 13,200 points = £71.28p (working out that 1 Nectar point = 0.54p) including p & p.

    Cheapest I can find online for the Nikon Coolpix L4 is £75.50 (+ P & P £4.10) = £79.60

So, that's £71.28p via Nectar or £79.60 via one of the online retailers; not such a massive saving. (I checked out the online reviews of this product and the item doesn't rate too high for my needs - but thought I'd share these figures anyway).

If this pack was half points it would be good but it just seems to apply to the camera am I correct?

    Olympus FE115 Digital Camera
    Was 23,200 points
    NOW ONLY 11,600 points

Olympus FE115 + Value Pack (case + 256MB memory card)
    31,200 points
  • Sorry if this off-topic, but I got a letter from Nectar yesterday saying it is reducing points on petrol at Sainsburys - it used to be 2 for every pound spent, and will be 1 from Sptember (I think) - I threw it away a bit too hastily !!

I collect Nectar points by doing TNS online surveys, as well as through shopping at Sainsbury's and using Sainsbury's credit card. I don't collect Nectar points actively. So they are just a bonus to me.

Just bagged myself a multi-region DVD player for 4,500 points! Might use it myself but hey, if I don't like it, I can flog it on eBay :)

Anyone know what model the Panasonic Digibox is? It looks like a TUCT41 but I'm not 100% sure and the site tells you sod all!

It does seem to only apply to the camera but I've just been on Amazon and the case is £5.58 and a 256MB memory card is only £10.47.

The camera itself is £87, which works out at £3.75 per block of 500 pts (75p per point), better than most deals on the site.

No, they are matching BP. They used to offer 2 points per pound (as per the shop). They will now offer 1 point per litre like BP.

Bunch of spoil sports....rack up most of my points at sainsbury's fuel. I'll probably change to filling up at Tescos where and when I can instead.
