I have never had any problems using my nectar vouchers and have always been given change. I usually buy the sale stuff with the occasional ful price item.

If you don't like the items take them back. You will be given credit vouchers instead. You can then use these on sale items!

I just exchanged all mine for gift vouchers - £570 worth:eek: Then they don't expire. Will keep my two in clothes for a while plus useful for presents. They only problem is now I will only shop at Adams as I begrudge paying for clothes when I can get them for free.

Is there anothers Adams store near you that might be a bit friendlier?

Also try emailing Adams Careline about change and using them on sale items. In my experience they have been very helpful and I can help if you print off the reply to show the staff.

My Adams store has been great, very helpful and polite.

Here's hoping Ford do another promotion next year.

I went into my local Adams store on Saturday and I asked the cashier for vouchers and told her I was paying for them with nectar vouchers. She said she didn't think I could do that. I then showed her the email from Adams stating I could and she said she would have to talk to her manager because she did not know how to put it through the till. She went away with vouchers and email, then her manager came back. Manager said that you have to spend them in store, I said a friend had bought vouchers with her nectar vouchers and that I emailed Adams to double check and that the response from Adams confirmed this. She looked at email again and said she would have to telephone customer services on Monday if I would like to call in then. I said it would probably be Thursday before I would get it so I now have to go back on Thursday.

Wish me luck! Imagine if I had more than £30 worth to exchange!!

I went back on the Thursday and the manager was not there. The cashier who served me on the Saturday was there and said she couldn't do anything without her managers permission but if I liked I could call in on the following day. I said I couldn't as I was going on holidays. She just shrugged her shoulders.

I took the vouchers with me to Glasgow and 2 lovely helpful assistants, although I think 1 was the manager, changed them for me for Adams vouchers with no problems.
  • I used mine while the bonus point weekend was on - just seen that the bonus points have been removed by nectar - can they really do that?!! So annoying. I am always given cash as change when using vouchers - never had problems in 3 stores i have used in the past

Google adams childrenswear and look at contact details.
  • Karnam, fill in your details here http://adams.co.uk/shop/contact_us.html , just asking them to confirm you can purchase gift vouchers with the nectar vouchers, and they email you a reply you can then print off and take to the shop with you

I was lucky and got lovely helpful staff who told ME to buy the vouchers as they dont have an expiry date!

Adams has 25% off everything in store at mo and there is still quite a good sale rack and it includes this as well.

Just had an e-mail from Nectar asking me to fill in a survey about The Nectar Summer of Rewards Campaign and what I thought of it, had I used mu Adams vouchers, etc. No mention of any freebie Nectar points though, but I filled it in anyway you never know!
  • Could you buy more stuff than you want the nectar vouchers then return the extra stuff - will they give you store vouchers?
