Can you add me 26th. Have just been informed I don't need an OR interview. But if that changes they will let me know; fingers crossed.

I'm just wondering how everyone is getting on?

    For me, it's somewhat bizarre.

I'm now working full-time (lots of hours, low pay, but I'm more than happy to work for my money), my car has been taken, still waiting to find out if the other vehicle (that I use to get to work) will be included or excluded.

I had a Ltd company, which I have resigned from as Director, but that still seems to be in limbo, the OR will not allow me to instruct an insolvency practitioner to sort it out, so it's just hanging there at the moment.

Am I the only person who finds the the Receiver's office tend to contradict themselves many times? I get told not to speak to a creditor...then asked a week later why I have not spoken to that creditor  I did not return a leased item for my company (card payment machine) after being told not to do so by the OR's investigator...then yesterday the OR said, "Why have you not returned this item?". :o

I'm trying to just get on and pay my bills (I had to call the mortgage company and the home insurance company this week to chase direct debits that I expected but had not been taken). They both found it odd that someone was chasing to make sure a payment went through :D

Still have no information regarding what will happen to my house, nor any mention about a repayment plan (I'm not sure when this will be addressed, as my SoA had a very small deficit for the next couple of months which family are helping with). For now, whilst the OR has been very nice, I treat them like customs at an airport...don't question or ask to much, just answer the questions they ask.

It would be interesting to hear what others are experiencing. :)

Just noticed most people have a wavey icon next to them and I have a question mark.

I'm not sure how to go about putting a wavey hand next to mine, but if someone could do it I would be grateful.

My BR went ahed on 9th. It all went very smoothly. I had my OR interview on 22nd and right now I feel like I am living a completely new life.

My car was taken away, but they gave me £2000 in cash to buy a new one and although the one I got cost less than half what my old one was worth I like it so much better.

Thanks to all the people who answered all my questions over the last few months.

    This forum really is amazing!

  • Onward - thanks for that - I called the guy up today and spoke to him about it - he sounded really sorry about his poor judgement - I didn't go mad with him or anything just simply explained the situation he had put me in. He agreed to change the time of the interview (in case my Mum decides to call!!) so wish me luck for it.....

Stockportlass - I really hope things will get better for you from now on, I certainly feel much better for it, interview still to go, but seriously how bad can that be to compare with the phone ringing all the time and teh endless letters for payment?!! Good luck with it all and keep us posted.
:eek:well i've been bankrupt for the grand total of 2 weeks now...but at 9:30 today i have my telephone interview with the OR..heart in my mouth yet again..
