  • Had my OR interview over the phone this morning, was a little nervous but seemed to get through it, took about 50 mins. All seemed straight forward except that they need to put in a cse for my car, I do need it for work and to get my son to school as we live in a village so am slightly concerned! It's under the 2K as well, he said that the value didn't matter? Also, my home pc which is 4 yrs old is a question mark, again I need this for work so they'll try and fight that one!
As for the overpayment of tax credits, apprently HMCustoms can still claim this back in future awards, it's up to them as to whether they write it off or not!
My basic sky tv was not allowed although this is linked to the broadband and phone so will wait on that one too. Ironically, I've been given a pay rise at work so may now qualify for paying...is it an ipa (this can take months to decide apparently?).
I have felt very emotional today, completely worn down by the whole thing but I'm sure it will get easier! Phone calls have reduced some what, the other day I din't have one!
How are you fellow Feb BR's doing?

Glad you got through it, hopefully you will get to keep the car, especially if it is needed for work.

  • Hi Im fine thanks for asking about your fellow Feb's br's, Im just waiting to hear from Moon Beevers about the date for my IPA.Ive had a couple of creditors calling me at work so I told the OR. Had a few letters from them also.
Cannot believe ive been br for a month, hope the next 35 months go as fast. Even though it was a very hard decision to make going br it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I still worry a little and although mine was my own fault it feels good to have finally faced my problems.
The help on here has been superb and I feel that I have made a few friends, you know who you are,;) and I feel that I can ask them anything which really helps me.
    Enjoy your weekend
    love
