True – I had to wait a week for a card reader from NatWest, great gizmos (if a bit of a palava!) Also True, on the claiming back charges and unenforceability thingy….I was thinking about doing it (I’m convinced my Cap1 card is unenforceable!) but when I spoke to the CCCS they said to sit tight for a while wait until the DMP is up and running otherwise you may upset the creditors….!!:eek:

Oh I'm not bothered about upsetting them, time for revenge me thinks :rotfl: I haven't worked out the uneforceable thing but I get the charges bit so I'm going to have a crack at that first. Think thats the bonus of self-management, just stick it to them :rotfl:

Do you know if you need a separate card reader for each account or if one will do the job for the lot?

  • Hi True

Go to whack them one from me!!!
My wee gizmo works off the co-op account and lets me send payments to my other accounts and pay bills from the account. I think you also need one if you want to buy something on the internet (not that i am allowed of course.)

    Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j

  • from what I've read (nowhere near enough) I dont think my Capital One is enforceable either, but not really a clue where to start, need to have a good luck into it.

True & Vic if you find anything out about yours can you post it on here? Pretty please....

Thanks to all who offered advice regarding token payments, I am getting the courage to send a smaller amount than I had first planned. Anyway, I need to be able to pay the 259.00 to cccs on the 1st of the month, hopefully April.
Professor Pat - your letter was great and made a point that applies to me, others answering the phone. Do you think they will stop calling? I think I will get a true call anyway, I just got a refund from mini boden for kids clothing that was faulty and it will cover the cost!! The "old" me would never have even asked, but I am a reformed shopping addict now turned totally frugal.

Looks like everyone checks in the day time here (I am a bit of a night owl) so I might stop by in the morning.
    Paddle no. 12
    DMP start 1st April
    Debt at LBM £23,000
  • PS. I forgot to ask. Did I see on here about a number you can call to get cheaper 0845 numbers?. To contact certain organisations you need to dial the expensive 0845 number and I was wondering if I could try and bring my costs down.

    Thankyou again.

    Morning,

Blimey i'm not here for 24 hrs and the 3 more pages. Here is a link for the numbers thing. I have asked companies virgin etc for there local number they often have this for people calling abroad (me). let me know who your creditors are and i might have some numbers already.
