  • It's a sign of definite progress and worth getting excited about I reckon and it's the first chink of light at the end of a very, very long tunnel.
Just about to start my 6/7 weeks of token payments, so anything to take my mind off that. :p

    Hi losingitbigtime,

I’m confident that you could make more of a saving by changing from this tariff, to either a different E.ON tariff or by popping your consumption figures in to a comparison site and having a look at what else may be available. :money:

The increase in your Direct Debit from its original amount could be due to a number of different issues.

The most common is a consumption shift, so your usage increased and the Direct Debit was reviewed to reflect this.

Sometimes it can be the result of an incorrect quote, so when you joined E.ON, the savings against the original company were based on the amount you paid that company monthly rather than the amount of kWh you used.

In more detail, it’s like entering your monthly Direct Debit figures into a comparison website instead of your annual kWh. If the Direct Debit is set at the wrong amount with the current supplier your comparison results will be incorrect.

If you’d like a review of your tariff and payments carried out, I am more than happy to help with this. You can email me on the address to the left if you’d like my help.

    Regards

    Brian :)

  • £415 a month on a £31k debt that's 1.3% a month. I would have thought your creditors will be fine with that payment schedule.

    Hi Nonnynonny,

thanks for this... had a quick scan to see if any of my creditors are the same as yours... what sort of things were queried in the budget (dreading that happening as will be totally cut down to basics as it is) and what happened with NEXT so that you have to pay an additional £5.00? Were CCCS ok with that?

The queried the fact that there were 2no adults in my house yet all of the income and expenditure was on my salary.

I told CCCS that they were my debts and that my wifes salary goes on child care full time, and a loan from in-law's for house deposit. They were fine with that, i think that was Northern Rocks only query.

Its not an additional £5 with next, they have agreed the plan, yet they are expecting £5 from 16th March, and they wont get it until 25th March from CCCS, so i may make the £5 payment in March and then let CCCS continue on the 25th thererby paying April's e.t.c

I havent spoken to CCCS about this, and i may not do it yet and just leave it to them to sort out, not decided yet.

Hope my statement of accounts above helps, its something i would have liked to seen when i was researching DMP's.

Good idea nonnynonny, I was thinking of doing a start to acceptance post once i had heard from everybody, still awaiting 2 out of 22 so nearly there. Another bout of wrestling with Lloyds to-day, eventually actually spoke to a real sympathetic person, who admitted there were some problems with CCCS (not caused by CCCS, caused by Lloyds handling) and could she escalate my details to the team who are looking into it, I said she could escalate to the moon if she got it sorted. She has asked for CCCS to send the proposal again and she will flag for acceptance, we'll see. First guy I spoke to didn't know what CCCS were:eek::eek::eek: and, wait for it, when I said we had a DMP he thought I said we were with the BMP:eek::eek::eek::eek:. Got rid of him and the supervisor was much bettet, even admitting his training had a way to go:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    Hi Nonny,

Give NEXT a ring and ask for the date to be changed as that is the day CCCS pay. I have done this with Virgin and RBS and they both did it over the phone.

    Thanks Gx

arghhhh just had a pointless call from BofS. did we know the account was in arrears, um yes! and could we send a breakdown of income and outgoings! Gonna ring CCCS tomorrow and see what they have to say. Apparently our account does exist and they need this breakdown before they will do anything, oh and can we possibly pay more money right now as we are accuring lots of interest. Let me just get my huge purse bulging with pennies out, oh yeah, its empty!!!!!!!!!

    Honestly!

Sorry I was trying to catch up on everyone and now I cant remember anything Ive read! Think most of it was good news. Sorry if I have scared anyone about giving out your new account details.

Not doing good with the budget this month. Had to take some out of the savings. Thats a bit of a bummer :( But did manage to sell my pram for £180, that'll pay for my driving lessons at least.
