Thanks PDD - yes my number is on my forehead, would wear it if I could as it seems to be keeping me safe!?!
Children stopped messing up the cleaning budget with their puking but little DS still has an exploding bottom, was taking to DD's teacher tonight and h there was a massive man sized fart, I thought blimey she'd keeping on talking and isn't bothered!!!!!! Arhh but then the smell and the damp patches on the little ones trousers, a messy business! Thanks for asking!

:eek::eek: it is in the distant past but I do remember not eating Chicken Korma for a consideraable time when the DS and DD were tiny, must say DS still emits wind:eek:, doesn't mess his trousers though, but if I could bottle the smell, I could possibly take us all out of debt......stadium clearing etc never mind this is all stories for their 21st birthday parties:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bit worried about the comment earlier, "don't send cheques as the creditors might get your account details". Well I am keeping my account with First Direct as I don't owe HSBC anything (which my creditors will obviously have the details of). Surely creditors can't take anything out of your account without your say so?

  • lloyds bought Halifax/Bank of Scotland last year, remember the dodgy deal last year facilitated by the PM? I have spoken to both collection departments and there rules and regs and tone were suspiciously alike, i would not leave any money that you can't afford to lose in either of them if you have debt, just to be safe.:T

OMG!!!! So it looks like the only link with the TSB is Halifax - but I have already changed all the direct debits over now and all my income is going into the Lloyds TSB - does this mean potentially Halifax could take money out of my Lloyds TSB account to pay off the Halifax Credit Card?????

Just when I thought I was getting in control :-( :(
  • I noticed you're with Eon, what tariff are you on. Im on one of their online savers and is so cheap - I'll try and find out what one if you like.
    :)[/QUOTE]

Hey - I forgot to answer this - I am on the EnergyOnline Extra Saver Standing Charge 14 - this is for both gas and electric - what puzzled me was when I first signed up for Eon I was quoted £69.92 for monthly gas and elec after giving meter readings and then within a couple of months this shot up to £124.84 per month, which I have been paying ever since!! I dont know why as me and hubby both work full time and child is at school all day, so we are only there evenings and weekend - and half the time we are out at weekends- all week from 8-6pm there is no gas or elec being used at all - ????? We only live in a tiny 2 up 2 down (and I mean tiny!) so I dont get it but never questioned it, just paid it.

    hmmmmmmm
  • i hate RBS with a passion. I had a letter saying they accept now i get a letter from CCCS saying RBS has been in contact and they don't accept the reduced payments because of a budget query grrrrrrrr. i am now fuming and feel sick again. i thought it was all going ok. not much sleep coming up for me now.

Has anyone had the same experience?

    Morning everyone,

Not got much to say today, which is guess is good in some respects and not in others! Bit miserable today tbh, not working, house is tidy, phone is unplugged, post doesn't come until 2pm at the earliest so I'm at a loose end and not sure what to do! Still fighting off the wobbles from yesterday too :( blah!!!

Anyway, hugs all round, hope you all have a good one :)

More snow, I am getting just a bit fed up with it now. How was the fish yesterday? Not a lot happening here either, just awaiting tomorrow, cos i think I am going to have money left in our account at the end of the month!!!!!! Only the second time ever. Ist payment also goes to the creditors tomorrow, so I wonder if I will be able to see it on the online tool thingy? it would be really nice to see that huge total going down a bit. Also celebrating my 2 month anniversary without a credit card to-day, ist time since I was 19 and that wasn't the day before yesterday............. I've got a pile of ironing if you are at a really loose end??? have a nice relaxing day.

Morning!... PDD, money in the bank before pay day, like, WOW!!!

Have a good one All :)

    Morning All!

I'm finding this particular concept very strange indeed. Still having money in my bank this far into the months seems almost foreign to me! Lol! ;)

...And not having to scrabble around finding bits of change in the sofa/jar/draws at home so I can actually GET to work is quite something! :j

No news...still. When I spoke to the CCCS yesterday about Cap1 saying CCCS needed to call them she said they don't normally do that....? So not quite sure what to do? Their calls have stopped so might wait and see if I get a letter.

Hope you all have a good day! x

  • Morning all.
All this talk of having money in the bank at the end of the month is making me dizzy. Wow, can't remember being in credit from about the 2nd of the month for 15 years.
I am very much looking forward to it. :j
