We've never used blackout curtains (DS is 17 months), but the light has never seemed to bother him.
The slight change in times seemed to though. He went to bed fine yesterday, then was awake between 12-2am, playful and walking round his cot (oh joy), then slept until 7.45 (5.30-6.30am is more normal). Then he had a 2.5 hour nap today - normally just 1.5 hours.
Wonder what tonight will be like…?0 -
Helllooo Im back from bedtime duties. After 15mins of screaming and an extra big hug he finally went to sleep. Its not just the clock changes, hes changed his bedtime feeding and is getting over a cold, all of which have changed his routine, so not a great time to be dealing with all this light! Oh doesnt help that he keeps flipping himself over, but cant put himself back.... Honestly Im sure I never had all this bother with my eldest. Might just try your suggestions LJM if he doesnt settle better.

Ooh I remember that stage. The whole 'learning to roll' thing was a bit of a nightmare, DS always hated being on his front, but would spend all his time rolling on to it, then screaming at us about the fact that he was on his front and didn't like it.0 -
Nataz - why do we have numbers?? (apologies if I'm missing something obvious)
And True - what have you been up to to get all those thanks?? Whatever it is you must be very good!!0
