I would be grateful if anyone could clarify a couple of things for me please, I've sent my DMP letters with £1 token payment and these have all been cashed by my creditors. CCCS have also sent my SOA and proposals and I have also contacted a couple of them by phone to confirm the DMP. My question is I have today received my CC statements from RBS and Halifax showing the £1 pymt but neither have made any reference to my DMP they just ask for minimum payment, £567 in the case of Halifax:rotfl:should I ring them again or wait for the paperwork to catch up? How long does it take normally?.

    Hey HH!!

I haven't got Halifax on my list, but I would imagine they are about as useless as the other state owned banks at referring to the DMP. Personally I wouldn't bother ringing them, save the cost of the phone bill! As for RBS, PDD is having fun with them, have they told you whether you are delinquent (or deviant :rotfl:) yet?

    xx

  • Hi True thanks for the reply, yes I've read all about the RBS, I think I get made delinquent on the 7/4. I was told that is when my account will be defaulted (is that the same thing?)and when it does i will get my charges and interest refunded:eek: Not sure I believe that though, think it maybe a red herring:rotfl:

  • Hi Happy

Apparently with RBS you have to g through their procedures, ie you get delinquent first then they send you a letter threatening to give you a default, then they give you a default then 17 days after that they terminate your account and at that stage they can then stop interest if you haven't died of old age or the sun hasn't blown up. Halifax were just incompetant, told me they wouldn't stop interest but did so far, just don't trust them and they only accepted for 3 months............... Have fun

  • Thanks PDD guess I'll have to see what each one does, is it just a case of waiting then or do you ring to see what stage it's up to? xx

thanks happy, I've been phoning to try to get them to move a bit faster, but RBS are dedicated to their procedures, very nice people though, apologetic for the procedures, but can't or won't move off them. Still phoning so that they know you're not daft does no harm.:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Pollywoggle
    Normal I think!
Out of 15 we've been ignored by a few, statements indicate they have not accepted - but low balances so cccs payment similar to minimum. Others gathered from statements that they had accepted as they showed zero interest and charges. A few wrote with acceptances, MBNA, MS, Santandurrrr. Some we've spoken to on the phone too and been told what will happen- rbs in terms of (:rotfl:devient )delinquancy and how and when they will accept PDD explains this up above! Our dmp started on the first of march so until I see statements with the cccs amount of money then I'll be sure of their position.

Have you phoned CCCS - are you with them, can't remember:)

If you're feeling bave you could phone the diff creditors and ask them. Next were good on the phone on Sat when I phoned! Was quickly passed to a supervisor when they knew it was a DMP.
