  • PDD's update

Phoned Lloyds, they are accepting our DMP but can only reduce, not stop interest, this is a small account and the CCCS payment is £14 they are taking £8 in interest, and they expect us to be grateful!!!! They have also apparently lost all previous correspondance and never received the Feb payment (which is showing on a statement!!!!) Give me strength)

Phoned RBS re their default and no other info, they are accepting our DMP and will stop all interest but not until the have gone through all their bally procedures, so interest stops in may for both accounts, I think that may be a result eventually!!!

Ted looks like yours will be following this route as well hopefully

OH is on phone to Cap oNE NOW, CAN YOU HEAR THE FRUSTRATION????

    Well, I have more news.....

Just got statement from Halifax....new transactions 0.00
min payment 36.10 THE DMP OFFER!!!!

Looks like an acceptance then, no charges or interest for last month:j

La redoute, on the other hand..... "we have set your account up on a payment plan, the minimum payment we can accept is 45.00" THATS WHAT THEY HAD BEEN GETTING ALREADY, B*****Y MUPPETS!! So got in touch with CCCS who says La redoute have informed them that it has been passed on to their debt collection agency who always stop interest (hope they are right!!)

So, my DMP looks like this...

MBNA accepted, no charges or interest
Cap 1 accepted, no charges or interest
Halifax seem to have accepted with no charges or interest
Barclaycard, no charges or interest for 30 days, waiting on CCCS paperwork but seems like an acceptance
Next, email to say have no paperwork from CCCS yet and asked for payment amount, similar figure to other folks who have been accepted
And finally, la redoute, who CCCS says will probably accept

All in the space of 3 weeks!!:j

  • well done, its great when they settle like that, so quickly. One word of caution is the Halifax, i'd get it in writing that they have accepted and are stopping interest, they are not the best at this......

True well done for crabby national, crap one, what can I say, who works there???? where do they get them, they should be sacked and shut down, did some government save them? what a waste of money???

I know, I'm cautiously optimistic. I just got the statement today and the figures were just amended, but it would be nice of them to actually acknowledge the DMP

  • Hi all, hope everyone is well, brill news LJM23k hope all my creditors accept as easily:).

I would be grateful if anyone could clarify a couple of things for me please, I've sent my DMP letters with £1 token payment and these have all been cashed by my creditors. CCCS have also sent my SOA and proposals and I have also contacted a couple of them by phone to confirm the DMP. My question is I have today received my CC statements from RBS and Halifax showing the £1 pymt but neither have made any reference to my DMP they just ask for minimum payment, £567 in the case of Halifax:rotfl:should I ring them again or wait for the paperwork to catch up? How long does it take normally?.

    Many thanks HH:)
