:j Hi guys, first can I ask whats wrong with the trolleys at Aldi????
have managed to get C/B, WTC and wages transfered over to new account in just a week so really pleased about that, Natwest dragged their feet with the new account so ended up going to Barclays, who did it there and then, so now low and behold have ended up with 2 accounts:o!!!!
Cr*pital one still calling , have refused to deal with them on the phone, but they still keep calling, have tried to have a civil conversation but either cant get a word in or twice now the woman on the other end has shouted me down:mad:, so not taking their calls anymore.
J.D Williams have started to call me now have had couple of calls today from their collection people who tell me even though they have my letter they will still be chasing the debt until they hear from CCCS, she got really anti when she asked me to confirm my phone number and I said , no your talking to me on the number so you already have it, then she asked for a mobile or second number to contact me on...yea right, gonna give you my mobile number!!! still it's the:beer: weekend now, even if some of us have to work a bit of it, Think I might have to go check out the Aldi's trolleys !!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:life sometimes gets in the way of good intentions:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have begun my DMP journey in the last few weeks and have started a diary in the diaries section (you can read all about my situation there!).
Thought I would say hi to everyone in the hope you'll help ease my nerves - is scary!!
hi Slightly - Welcome! This is certainly a good place to sooth your nerves and face the DMP journey! Will see if I can find out where diaries are!DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -

Well HSBC now know I'm doing a DMP and have sent me the balances letter. They added "There is no legal action pending at this time. We are unable to freeze interest and commission charges or prevent any further action from being taken". Whatever that may mean. I used the card at lunchtime, since I knew I had money left and it seemed to go through, wasn't rejected as I've been expecting when they found out about the DMP. Only £60 in there now :rotfl: No Rugby internationals this weekend so what are we all going to do with our extra daylight on Sunday? I do feel as though I'm slowly arriving.Paddle No 21 :wave:0

Hi all
Sorry for being AWOL for a while, seems like Ive got no time at the mo.
Just wanted to share my good news before catching up on what I missed... we got our DLA appeal letter today and they have awarded us middle care rate for our DS :j. Means we are gonna be £190 better off each month AND we can apply for carers which will add another £210 a month!
How cool is that.... now just need to work out what to do with all that moola (no idea on spelling!):D:D:D:D

Please someone tell EGG to be nice to me. Still slapping on the interest and late charges:mad:. MBNA were 1st to accept DMP (and they're my biggest creditor) yet I'd heard that they used to be real horrors.DeeBee0

Hi nothing happening with me... came home to letter from halifax hurray i thought they have got in touch but no just a letter saying as i was such a good customer i could apply for a loan!!! Decided if there isnt anything in the post tomorrow i'm gonna ring them. the not knowing is giving me stress. On a plus note I have found a mobile hairdresser for 1/2 the price I normally pay so I'm having my haircut on Monday for the first time since Christmas Eve. That should make me feel better0

Moby hairdresser sounds good Candypop, I was starting to look like Shaggy off Scooby Doo........I did the same and the cut is just as good but like you say half the price...:)
I've been trying to cut my fringe for the past couple of weeks but I dont think the wonky look is in. :rotfl: Also it reminds me of when I was young and my mum used to put a bowl on my head and cut round it.0 -
I've often thought about using a mobile hairdresser, but - and this may sound like a very silly question - but what happens with the hair washing, do they just sling you over the sink/bath ????0
-
I always use the local college for haircuts - just as good and £8 for cut and blow dry.
They do massages for a fiver as well when I'm feeling indulgent! Had a day off in January and got an hour-long full-body massage for five pounds :-)0
