  • Welcome Rhian

We are 100 pages old to-day so a good day to join. You've done the right thing and things will get back now that you have taken control, you'll start to feel better too. Its a huge difference living with "real money" its quite novelty! and its a huge thrill if you have some left at the end of the month, even a wee drop is a great feeling.. Keep posting and we'll all be here if you need to rant, vent or celebrate. We like the celebrating bit best

    Thanks for the welcome :)

Can I ask what the deal is with postal orders? I was planning on doing the token payments and everything online, is there a reason not to?

    Hi Rhian and welcome....
I made token payments online, from the old account- it was all already set up to do that so easiest to carry on for us. Seems its best not to let creditors have your 'new' account details just incase they decide to use for their own purposes!!!!

Ah that's interesting - we won't have access to our old accounts as they have overdrafts so will be included in the whole process. Might be a good idea to set up another though, or go the post office route!
