Hi everyone - nothing in post today apart from my password from CCCS have logged on and managed to reduce 2 of the balances on my creditor lists because I have had letters with up to date balances on them they are lower than expected so it looks better already yipee

Evening all! What a busy day here on here today! I had a crappy day but nothing to do with dmp, LOL! Took the kids to an outdoor museum st pats event but it wasn't great and I felt like I'd wasted money, then DS behaved like a toddler (he is 6) most of the time:mad:

Can't wait for the post tomorrow, I would rather know whats happening

Thanks from me also. Feeling kind of left out, not received any mail or phonecalls from creditors yet. (I know I should be careful what I wish for!!) Might feel like it is happening when I do though. Like the sound of HSBCs offering yesterday about "we have to accept", since they are one of mine, so fingers crossed. It is fun on here hearing about other problems and food shopping and not just bills, bills, bills.

Can I join the thread?

DH and I are about to start the whole DMP process - have been making arrangements with a different bank account (an old Co-op one we'd stopped using, no overdraft) to get our salaries and bills transferred there from the end of the month, and start token payments.

We're dealing with the National Debtline and hoping to have the DMP set up as quickly as possible.

It's all quite scary, but I'm looking forward to having actual budgeted money to spend on things like food, as at the moment every penny goes on minimum payments. Can't wait to just live in cash not overdrafts, and have set payments and budgets. Roll on next payday!
