Morning peeps
Hope all u mamas had a lovely day yesterday. and how special a call from your fav people tedsd
ljm defo dont do the 1471 thing. No point getting yourself all flustered for no reason
mama your kiddy still ill, poor little thing, mind you mines still got a icky bottom and DD has decided shes gonna potty train herself out of nighttime nappies... I thought that was my decision :rotfl:
I was in a good mood this morning, had a shower, emptied dishwasher, managed to get DDs bunches in first time etc UNTIL I realised that my ever so useful DH has driven off with the pram in the boot  He then had the cheek to ask if I needed it, um yes otherwise DD would have to walk all the way home from nursery in a gale, whilst DS screams the place down in the very old buggy! Beeping men (sorry Prof again)
One coffee and some galaxy later.... feel bit calmer.
Got to do the round up of spending for last week, dreading it as I think we are getting very very close to the budget limit for March  oh s***Debt at LBM - £11,505Debt 2011 = [STRIKE]8K[/STRIKE] £7760 - DF in July 2013DMP Paddle no. 1 Sealed Pot No. 1375Grocery Challenge Aug £418.31/£450 Sept £ /£4500 -

Well not personally you understand :rotfl:, although it would be a good investment at present!
No one in Post Office until I got to the counter, then a huge queue waiting for the Wurr to get a move on.... chap next to me was buying postal orders too, wanted to give him a knowing nod but decided against it...
Went onto Aldi and bought caramel wackos, 5 less calories than the normal ones!!!
Lol! I think I may as well wear a "drowning in debt" tshirt, I posted my cccs paperwork at one post office, token payments at another and bought the postal orders at yet another one!:rotfl:Paddle no. 12

Good strategy ljm23k... the lady at the post office gave me a roll of recorded delivery stickies so reckon she's into the monthly routine too and expects me back soon for part two :rotfl:
OH NO!!! that would be enough to make me never go to that post office again!:oPaddle no. 12

Just opening my weekly stack of ' this is not a circular it's a threat' post and Huh, Cap One...'we can only help you if you get in touch'...I have written to update them fortnightly and sent token payments monthly  Realise they are standard letters but what a waste of everyone's energy!
Cap one is one of mine too, I have only had post from MBNA so far but I gave in to the 1471 habit just now.... a withheld number WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS?
Are you refusing to talk to cap one? How many months of token payments have you sent?Paddle no. 12

I refuse to speak to Crap One, LJM. Even when I do pick up the phone I can't understand the person on the other end, and I'm fairy sure they can't understand me either! I've sent tokens since December 09 I think...Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

My parents paid some of my min payments since Dec 09 so I am getting away with one month of tokens. Surely the calls will slow down once they get paid by CCCS?
I will try REALLY hard to stop the 1471, cold turkey suits my personality better!Paddle no. 12

Hi True,
didn't know you were still on tokens too!! Am not alone :j When do you think your DMP will start?
Oh yeah, still on tokens! I'm thinking 1st June start date now, seeing as DH starts his new job on 6th April and his first full pay packet will be 15th May so I should have full info by then. I continued with tokens when DH got the job to give us time to build up a bit of a safety net on his current wage and then start the DMP officially when he's moved, IYSWIM! How about you?Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
I'm hoping to find out my new hours at work on 31st March...sort child care, then I need to see if tax credits go up or down, depends how quickly that gets sorted as to when my DMP will start... the token payments have given me some breathing space to get my priority stuff up to date and to save some for summer childcare.... are you still going it alone or thinking about CCCS?
Agree re: the breathing space, these past few months have really helped us get on the straight and narrow and get used to living on our DMP budget. I'm going to go it alone, but using the CCCS template letters they send you in the DMP pack. I want the flexibility to pay a minimum while saving up to make full and finals before too long which the CCCS doesn't give me unfortunately.Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840
