Don't know about the frog mama, could be a Prince (with a lot of money) you maybe should have kissed it and skipped the chatting.

i think you may have cracked it with HSBC Mama, HBOS did something similar to us, I'm just keeping all the statements and crossing my fingers.

 can I have a rant please for 1 min,

Have just been over on to F/B and how many of my "friends" (not counting my eldest son in this coz he does work) all have iphones.

I work full time and even with out debts couldnt afford a iphone.

their all on social and have better stuff than me.

I would love to have one, but even with normal out goings couldnt justify the expence ( I have looked and dreamt)..............and breathe !!!

    sorry end of rant :j:j:j:j

Well folks, my day got off to great start with a letter from MBNA, by far my biggest creditor, accepting the DMP, 0% interest and charge free. Went off out on a high to visit parents, in laws and my brothers new baby only to come home and find a text message on my phone from barclaycard asking me to call them. How did it get through truecall? I done 1471 and the last number was my land line, at the time the message was left. I panicked and deleted the message but am freaking out in case they call again. Any advice?

Just updating my last post, the call was blocked by truecall, now that I checked online. But how did they get to leave a message?

  • ignore them, they will probably write to you. Barclaycard have been fantastic with us, no calls and cancelled interest and charges right away, so it might not be bad news, it might just be their automated thingy, just ignore it. They keep sending statements anyway, so when your statement is due, you will know one way or another

Well, I have just added my home number to the zap list to see if that blocks the automated texts but, as I have it set for starred callers only and my home number wasn't starred then it should not have got through. I will check my settings again and email truecall on monday to sort it out, the will change the settings online for you.
