I am an Islay man, Laphroig for tonight. Apologies to the Scottish ladies as I do take ice with it. :p

Ooooh, I bought that for my FIL for Christmas, he seemed bewildered by the fact he now owns a square foot of land on Islay...

• :rotfl::rotfl:morning guys, Good one this morning!!!!

Tiny bit of history 1st,.........

went in to Lloyds yesterday to ask why my statements havent been arriving, this is not unusual, they used to come every 3 months ,then I asked for them to be monthly, but being the T@@ts they are they couldnt get it right, so just assumed they had cocked up again.

stay with me now ..........

this morning I decided to register for one line banking so I could close my DD's on line and not have to go in to bank and get pounced on by a customer adviser (bloody rediculous in our branch)
completed the form on line got right to the end and it came up in big red writting
We recently sent mail to the address we have on file for you and it was returned to us, we need to confirm that your address is correct to register you for internet banking.

we moved here 2 yrs ago from across town and their other mail has got here so should be interesting to see if they have reverted back to old address. Woman was really snotty yesterday when I asked her to print me out a statement, she would only do a mini one and cashpoint wouldnt do one either, but why did she not have a red flag moment when she put my details in to computer, that there was a problem,

anyway guys sorry to rumble on again, sunis shining here and have no hangover from the vodka/ redbull, so better go do some washing,

have a good day xxx:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

• Morning

Missed the end of the party as had a little snooze on the sofa.....................Polly I don't know what to suggest with LLoyds, they are unreal, is it any wonder they lost all that money??
Laphroig smells like germoline, its because of the seaweed apparently, and naughty Prof, you shouldn't put ice ina just a wee touch of water.
Ted, you have obviously a history of trolley problems..............take caramel wachos and lie down on the sofa,
Nat hope you have managed a nice long lie this morning.
Mama Hope the alcohol helped with OH disappointment
Off out now, stuff to do, and I'm afraid us Scotties are playing you lot at rugby to-day, am away to pray for snow..................

:T I'm fine Tedsd, they have actually hopefully done me a favour, my details are hopefully safe, cause they have returned stuff to lloyds

( think maybe it was moron next door cause we are 16 and he is 16a and they are not happy cause I've had the council on to them about their weekend building work)

so now they have given me the reason to go into the bank and stop everything without getting flustered and embarassed, if they couldnt write to me ( they dont have new phone number thank god) then they should have red flagged it when I used my account either in shop or cash point or even in the flippin branch, then I would have had to go in and see what the problem was !!!:T

Pollywoggle those calls are so hard....Just had one with bt....trying to reclaim money from them, she couldn't understand me and vice versa, eventually she said she'd have to get her higher ups to help...horrid phrase...I thing they've agreed to my refund we'll wait and see! I just end up saying I'm sorry i don't understand and am so stressed and embarrased at the end. Never thought to just give up and hang up:o

Littleies have just been let loose in poundland with one coin each for mother's day for me....dh laughing about what I've got! He'll have to get cracking to get them to make a card!

He's ok thanks PDD, it was a good experience as it was such a positive interview and he wasn't:eek:ing through it!

Confused about hsbc now, thought they wanted to keep me and my debt for ever:rotfl: but statement has come and it says apr 24% but zero interest charged on this statement!? Do you think they've accepted the dmp?!

Found a frog on the doorstep when we got in, well more the door frame really, a big big fat one, now what does that mean - do you think its a new form of message from creditors? It hopped off when I tried to chat:D
